An omnibus movie consists of five stories that illustrate the darker side of Jakarta.
Sigit (Slamet Rahardjo), a former gambler who in his youth ruled illegal casino in Jakarta. In old age, Sigit trying to improve its relationship with the family and take more pride lost many years ago. The only way he knows is the gambling again. Sigit return on casino gambling, but not for money or ego, but to something more important, although it must deal with Gilang (Ray Sahetapy), his nemesis at the gambling table.
Ario (Ario Bayu), an idealistic young cop, newly promoted to detective. His first day on patrol with a police officer named senior Bowo (Tio Pakusadewo), making it aware that law enforcement in Jakarta, it is not black and white as he had imagined. Today, Ario must choose whether he still wanted to be a policeman who upholds the law, or a police officer and a realistic compromise with the state.
Ibnu (Baim Wong), due to environmental influences, to be extremists and willing to do anything for the sake of religion and beliefs that he trusted. Though he did not know that he is being exploited by their own friends, Said (Winky Wiryawan), which has a bigger plan in performing their actions. Ibn learned today that embrace the belief does not mean having to take up arms to defend him.
Adrian (Reza Rahadian) successful architect in Jakarta. He was always proud of the fact that he was an orphan who grew up in an orphanage but it can achieve success with his own business. Adrian met with Sonny Wibisono (Roy Marten), the big boss in Jakarta. Adrian realized that the whole life is fake. He is just bolt on a big conspiracy machine.
Dian (Pevita Pearce), adolescents who have a beautiful face, a smart brain and wealthy families. Since his mother died, her world seemed to collapse, well away from her father. Dian was ensnared by drugs and repeatedly attempted suicide, but thanks to the efforts of his father, Dian finally managed to escape from dependence narkobanya. Dian returned to the family beach house of his mother where he met Rima (Wulan Guritno), a friend who seems to really understand him. Dian aware of drugs involved in a world filled with dangerous people. The fifth story is interlocked to establish a story.
